Tay-Leiha Clark commenced her competitive career in 2012, where she participated in the long jump at the Sydney Premiership and also competed in the high jump at the Hobart Australian All Schools Championships.
In 2013, she secured the gold medal in both the long jump and triple jump at the Sydney NSW U16 Championships, as well as the silver medal in the long jump at the Townsville Australian All Schools Championships, and the gold medal in the triple jump at the Sydney NSW All Schools Championships. Additionally, she achieved gold in the high jump at both the Perth Australian U16 Championships and the Sydney NSW All Schools Championships.
Tay-Leiha Clark continued to enhance her skills in 2014, primarily concentrating on the triple jump and long jump. She attained silver and gold medals in the long jump and triple jump at the Sydney Australian U18 Championships and Sydney NSW Junior Championships, respectively. Throughout the season, she earned her first significant international medal, securing silver in the triple jump at the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games. In 2023, Tay-Leiha Clark successfully made her comeback by winning the bronze medal in the long jump at the Auckland Sir Graeme Douglas International. Furthermore, she placed 9th at the Brisbane Australian Championships and ended up 12th at the Canberra ACT U20 & Open Championships in the same event.
Tay-Leiha Clark continued her track and field competitions in 2024, although she only participated in two events. She earned a bronze medal at the Maitland Hunter Winter Series in the long jump with a distance of 5.66m and did not qualify at the Adelaide Australian Championships, where she recorded a jump of 5.80m.
