Despite facing a difficult indoor season in 2021, Maria-Roberta Gherca made a strong comeback during the outdoor season, winning gold at the Rieti Regional Championships, the Roma Regional U23 Championships, and the Agropoli Italian Club Championships. Additionally, she earned a bronze medal at the XXIV Meeting Internazionale Città di Nembro in Nembro and at the Barletta Pole Vault in Piazza. In 2022, Maria-Roberta Gherca once again demonstrated her exceptional skills, securing the bronze medal at the Ancona Italian Indoor Championships and excelling in the outdoor season by winning gold medals in pole vault at the Firenze Indoor Jumping Meeting, Ancona Italian U23 Indoor Championships, and Firenze Indoor Jumping Meeting. Her remarkable performances continued with a gold medal at the Rieti Trofeo Perseo and a silver medal at both the Rieti Invitational Pole Vault Meeting and the Rieti Regional Club Championships.

She achieved a silver medal at the Stabhochsprung Stars 2024 in Frauenfeld, Switzerland, with a height of 4.38m and placed 4th at the Ancona Italian Indoor Championships. At the Míting Internacional Ciutat de Barcelona, Maria-Roberta Gherca claimed the silver medal, and at the Grifone Meeting in Asti, she secured the bronze medal. She set a new personal best at the 35. Mednarodni miting Novo mesto, clearing a height of 4.41m, and won the bronze medal at the La Spezia Italian Championships.
